The Alfa Romeo 4C, a retro-styled sports car, is making a comeback thanks to a collaboration with Abarth to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary.

Although the production of the 4C was discontinued in 2020, Stellantis Heritage has decided to bring it back, based on Abarth’s 1300 OT model. This new version is a modern tribute to the classic 1965 Fiat-Abarth OT 1300, using the 4C as its foundation.

Despite some changes, the new version retains the essence of the original. The Abarth Classiche 1300 OT features a carbon fiber body, rear louvers, and a periscope roof scoop, paying homage to the 1960s racing car.

The limited production will be based on existing 4Cs, revitalized by Stellantis, keeping alive the history of these iconic models.

This isn’t the first time the 4C has made a surprising comeback. In 2021, the Abarth Classiche 1000 SP model took a similar approach, but as a convertible.
